Associate Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to support the configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment, validation, and ongoing maintenance of the IBM Maximo application in a GxP-regulated environment. The associate will work across key Maximo modules and demonstrate a strong learning mindset to support strategic initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain IBM Maximo solutions including Work Order, Asset, Location, and Purchasing modules.
• Perform object, attribute, and database configurations using Database Configuration and Application Designer.
• Develop and maintain Automation Scripts using Python/Jython.
• Configure and support workflows, escalations, security groups, and scheduled jobs.
• Develop and support integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Provide technical support, perform root-cause analysis, and monitor application logs and integration queues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

• Experience or knowledge in IBM Maximo configuration and development.
• Ability to work in a GxP-regulated environment.
• Understanding of integration patterns involving REST APIs, web services, and message queues.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for incident management.
