Full-Stack Software Engineer

Role Overview

Our Software Solutions team is building the dashboard that powers the future of construction. As the Software Engineer in this role, you will help site owners monitor multi-OEM fleets, track emissions, and take real-time action - all through clean design and modern data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Feature Development: Building product features across backend, frontend, and real-time messaging systems
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Working with domain experts to shape telemetry insights into user-facing tools
• Platform Contribution: Contributing to the shared platform layer for all internal AI and data systems
• Backend API Development: Build and maintain scalable backend APIs using Node.js and NestJS
• Data Pipeline Design: Design data pipelines and real-time features using Kafka and MQTT
• Frontend Development: Develop frontend components using Vue.js
• Infrastructure & Deployment: Ensure quality with Docker, and Terraform deployments on AWS ECS
• End-to-end Ownership: Own features end-to-end with close collaboration across teams

Requirements

• At least 4 years in full-stack development (Node.js, NestJS, Vue.js)
• Experience with MQTT, Kafka, or similar streaming protocols
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Terraform, AWS ECS)
• A builder’s mindset with comfort working across the stack
• Excited by ambiguous, cross-functional challenges
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and curious about new tools
