Python Backend Developer (AI/ML)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with Machine Learning experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs. The role involves integrating machine learning models into backend services, developing efficient data pipelines, optimizing database operations, and supporting the deployment and performance of AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs following industry-standard API design principles.
• Work with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
• Integrate trained Machine Learning models into backend applications and APIs.
• Implement model inference services for real-time or batch predictions using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Work with Linux-based environments and shell scripting.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Machine Learning concepts and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying ML models in production environments.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
