Role Overview

Angel One is a leading Indian fintech platform focused on making investing, trading, wealth creation, and credit simple and accessible for millions of users. The Data Science Intern role is an on-site internship based in Bengaluru, offering hands-on experience with real-world data at scale and exposure to the fintech domain. You will support data-driven decision making by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data to identify trends and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Assist in building and validating statistical and machine learning models.
• Generate insights for business teams and contribute to dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business problems into analytical tasks.
• Document findings clearly.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of data analysis.
• Foundational knowledge in statistics and data science.
• Practical abilities in data analytics and experience working with datasets.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Interest in fintech and capital markets.
