Description

This internship is designed to groom the candidate for a Software Tester / Quality Engineer role by providing hands-on experience in functional testing, API testing, regression testing, test automation fundamentals, defect management, and quality documentation.

The intern will work closely with QA Engineers, Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to validate application functionality, identify defects, support release readiness, and ensure a high-quality user experience. The role includes exposure to modern quality engineering practices such as AI-assisted testing, Agile development methodologies, API validation, and test automation frameworks. These skills are increasingly sought by organizations as QA evolves from manual testing into a broader quality engineering function.

In addition to testing activities, the intern will contribute to creating and maintaining test cases, UAT guides, release validation reports, QA knowledge articles, and product documentation. Over time, the intern will gradually take ownership of test execution, defect reporting, documentation maintenance, and quality reporting activities, preparing for a full-time Software Tester or Quality Engineer role.
