Performance Test Engineer

Role Overview

Join archintX and gain hands-on experience designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure applications are fast, stable, scalable, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6.
• Analyze application performance, response times, throughput, resource utilization, and bottlenecks.
• Identify performance issues and collaborate with development and DevOps teams to resolve them.
• Monitor application and infrastructure metrics during performance testing.
• Prepare performance test plans, scenarios, reports, and recommendations.
• Support performance testing across APIs, web applications, databases, and distributed systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD performance testing and continuous performance monitoring.
• Document findings, defects, test results, and performance improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• Students or aspiring engineers interested in software testing, performance engineering, automation, APIs, and application scalability.
• Basic knowledge of software testing, HTTP/REST APIs, SQL, and programming/scripting is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are most important.
