Backend Developer (Python/FastAPI)

Role Overview

ARCHLE Labs is a health tech R&D startup located in Bangalore. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Python/FastAPI) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems that form the core of our health-tech solutions, focusing on clean architecture, API-driven development, and high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful & WebSocket APIs using FastAPI.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to design and integrate APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Manage and optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Implement secure authentication & authorization using JWT and OAuth2.
• Build asynchronous applications leveraging Python async features.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Use Git for version control and follow collaborative workflows.
• Debug, test, and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth performance.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong command of Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with JWT / OAuth2 authentication.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with Git and collaborative development.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
