Role Overview
Argo Intern is looking for a Cyber Security Intern to support security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident detection activities. This opportunity is suitable for cybersecurity students, freshers, recent graduates, and aspiring security professionals who want to build practical knowledge across SOC operations, SIEM, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the security team with monitoring and reviewing security alerts
- Analyze logs and security events using SIEM platforms
- Support the identification and investigation of potential security incidents
- Assist with vulnerability assessment activities across systems and applications
- Support authorized security testing and penetration-testing exercises
- Document identified vulnerabilities, observations, and security findings
- Assist in preparing security assessment and incident-related reports
- Research common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive techniques
- Support the team in maintaining security monitoring and documentation processes
- Follow established security procedures and responsible testing practices
Requirements
- Strong interest in Cybersecurity and Information Security
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts
- Familiarity with SOC and SIEM fundamentals
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment and penetration-testing concepts
- Interest in Ethical Hacking and security research
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and work on practical cybersecurity projects
