Software Engineer

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with the Technical Lead to develop and support engineering workflow solutions built on the Atlassian platform. You will contribute to JIRA workflow automation, dashboard development, data analytics, and engineering process improvements to enable efficient execution across semiconductor development teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of JIRA workflows, issue types, screens, automation rules, and project configurations.
• Develop scripts and utilities using Python and SQL to extract and process data from Atlassian databases and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain web-based dashboards and user interfaces to visualize project health and engineering metrics.
• Assist in building reporting pipelines and generating engineering metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand workflow requirements and improve engineering processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Understanding of databases, REST APIs, and software development practices.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of the semiconductor or SoC development lifecycle.
• Exposure to PostgreSQL, Git, or Flask/FastAPI.
