Role Overview
As a DevOps/CI/CD Engineer at Arrive, you will be positioned at the heart of our engineering organization. You will be a core member of the team responsible for managing and evolving the common CI/CD framework that powers our central Global Platform. In this highly visible and central role, you will act as a bridge between the platform and Arrive’s internal development teams. We are looking for a proactive self-starter and a natural problem solver who thrives in a self-organizing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and evolve the common CI/CD framework as a critical component of Arrive’s Global Platform.
- Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline developer workflows and improve the CI/CD pipeline's efficiency and reliability.
- Act as the primary technical contact for Arrive’s internal development teams to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
- Take ownership of platform issues, investigate root causes, and implement fixes with a high degree of autonomy.
- Collaborate closely with other teams within the Development Experience organization.
- Create, maintain, and update high-quality technical documentation.
- Plan and execute seamless migrations from legacy or alternative CI/CD solutions.
- Evaluate new tools, including the application of Agentic AI, to evolve platform architecture.
- Plan and execute validation for systems using repeatable and traceable practices to monitor performance and mitigate risks.
- Identify recurring operational issues like latency or throughput bottlenecks in cloud-native environments.
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience with GitHub and building robust, scalable deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or high-level programming language such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, administration, and deployment strategies.
- Solid practical experience utilizing ArgoCD for GitOps and Continuous Delivery.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Helm Charts.
- Experience managing secure configurations in Kubernetes using Sealed Secrets.
