ELK Developer

Role Overview

Ashra Technologies is seeking a skilled ELK Observability Developer with 4+ years of experience to design, implement, and maintain observability solutions. The role focuses on log management, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed applications and infrastructure using the Elastic Stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain observability solutions using the ELK Stack.
• Build and optimize Logstash pipelines for log ingestion and transformation.
• Configure and manage Beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat, Winlogbeat, Auditbeat, etc.) for data collection.
• Develop interactive Kibana dashboards, visualizations, and alerts.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Elastic Observability.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize Elasticsearch clusters for performance, scalability, and high availability.
• Implement index lifecycle management (ILM), snapshots, and backup strategies.
• Automate deployment and configuration using CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
• Experience with Elastic Observability (Logs, Metrics, APM, Uptime).
• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience in log parsing using Grok patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.

• Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
