Job Description
Role Overview
The QA Tester will validate Hospital Information System (HIS) modules and workflows, ensuring seamless operation across clinical, administrative, and financial functions within healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities
- Test HIS modules including Patient Registration, OPD/IPD Management, Appointment Scheduling, Billing & Revenue Cycle, LIS, Pharmacy, RIS, and Ward Management.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
- Validate end-to-end hospital workflows across integrated modules.
- Perform integration testing between HIS and EMR systems.
- Ensure data consistency across healthcare applications.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production testing activities.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in QA testing.
- Strong understanding of hospital and clinical workflows.
- Experience testing HIS applications.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and patient care processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent.
