Software Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will leverage cutting-edge GenAI tools and AI-assisted development environments to accelerate test scenario identification and optimize automation scripts. You will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end product quality, from requirement analysis to final release, across frontend applications and RESTful API services.

Responsibilities

• Leverage GenAI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity for test scenario identification and coverage analysis.
• Utilize AI-assisted environments such as Cursor AI and GitHub Copilot to author and optimize automation scripts.
• Design and execute automation test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Perform API automation using Rest Assured and validate RESTful API services.
• Conduct data validation using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Engage in SDLC and STLC processes, including requirement analysis, test design, and defect triage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual and automation testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Cucumber and TestNG.
• Strong understanding of Performance Testing concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
