Role Overview

Aura Smart builds India's own smart-community and security hardware, including AI-powered NVRs, CCTV, and automation. This role sits at the center of building the recurring-revenue AI layer that makes our platform a genuine deep-tech product. This is a full-time internship in Indore with a path to a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate AI models for our NVR platform, focusing on video intelligence and detection.
• Work on our Node.js/Linux-based NVR software to handle video and power the AI wallet.
• Help build and improve our customer-facing mobile app for iOS and Android.
• Use modern AI coding tools like Claude to build faster and smarter as an AI-native developer.
• Optional opportunity to work alongside hardware efforts including PCB and edge hardware.

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals and curiosity about end-to-end systems.
• Hands-on experience or serious side projects in AI/ML, backend/Linux systems, or mobile app development.
• Comfort with Linux and command-line work.
• Experience using AI coding tools to build real-world applications.
• Self-directed ability to solve scoped problems independently.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to computer vision or video processing (FFmpeg/RTSP).
• Experience with embedded systems or hardware.
