Role Overview

Auswide Global is seeking a WordPress Developer with 2–5 years of experience to join our development team. The role involves building, customizing, and maintaining high-performance websites using WordPress and related web technologies, working across both front-end and back-end development to ensure responsive design and optimized performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress
• Build custom themes and templates based on design requirements
• Develop and maintain custom plugins as per business needs
• Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to extend functionality
• Manage and maintain WooCommerce stores
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Handle website debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Work with MySQL databases for data handling and optimization
• Use Git version control for development and deployment workflows
• Ensure website security best practices and regular maintenance

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
• Good understanding of PHP and backend development
• Experience with theme and plugin customization
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first web design principles
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field
