Executive Consultant (Frontend AFC Development on embedded Linux/QNX)

Role Overview

As an Executive Consultant, you will use C/C++ in embedded Linux/QNX environments to develop software systems and components for integrated automated fare collection (AFC) systems. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement definition to design, testing, implementation, and maintenance, working closely with software engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to understand system and application requirements.
• Develop software solutions that meet client needs and perform as designed.
• Apply technical best practices to all projects.
• Consistently improve skills to deliver high-quality output and gain increased responsibility.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal staff to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
• Explore new technologies, learn new concepts, and share ideas with the team.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in C++ object-oriented software development.
• At least 3 years of experience working in embedded Linux/QNX.
• Experience in developing RTOS based embedded applications.
• Experience in device/terminal applications development and client/server application interfaces.
• Experience in multi-threading, multi-processor environments, and hardware-software integration.
• Experience with Wireless networks, Bluetooth, 3G, QR code, and GPS technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
