Role Overview
The DevOPS Engineer in the ES department is responsible for initiating or reviewing customer DevOps implementations, providing process flow recommendations, and running Salesforce deployments for managed services projects. You will suggest best practices, assist the engineering team with technological developments, and aid in UAT to enhance the AutoRABIT toolset.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, code quality, security, and backup solutions.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms like AutoRABIT ARM, Copado, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Manage Static Code Analysis solutions such as CodeScan, SonarQube, PMD, or Checkmarx.
- Configure and manage Git repositories, branching strategies, and deployment automation.
- Support implementation of governance and security controls using AutoRABIT Guard.
- Assist in configuring backup and recovery solutions using AutoRABIT Vault or OwnBackup.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, merge conflicts, and pipeline issues across Salesforce environments.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, or Release Management.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Salesforce DevOps platform (e.g., AutoRABIT ARM, Copado, Flosum).
- Experience with Git-based version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with Static Code Analysis tools and Salesforce backup/recovery platforms.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata deployments and DevSecOps principles.
