Software Engineer III

Role Overview

Avaya is an enterprise software leader helping large organizations and government agencies forge unbreakable connections through the Avaya Infinity™ platform. As a Software Engineer III, you will become a subject matter expert, designing, deploying, and supporting best-in-class software and development processes while providing technical leadership on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support best-in-class software, development processes, and software development tools.
• Develop tasks including module design, coding, debugging, and documentation of application programs and systems-level programming.
• Conduct systems programming and systems support activities.
• Ensure software meets specified performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Define model interfaces/formats for performance simulation and module-specific requirements.
• Design, analyze, plan, and modify network components supporting communication implementation.
• Provide support to customer and account teams to understand requirements and resolve problems.
• Provide domain and technical leadership within project areas.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of total professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
