Web Developer – WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify & LMS

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable Web Developer to work with us as an Independent Contractor on an ongoing, as-required basis. You will maintain existing websites, including WordPress and a custom Learning Management System (LMS), while also developing new WooCommerce and Shopify websites. This is a fully remote, freelance position with work provided on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update existing websites, including text, images, videos, and menus.
• Build new websites using WordPress and manage WooCommerce stores.
• Develop and manage Shopify websites, including theme customization and product setup.
• Ensure all websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Install and update plugins, fix technical errors, and handle website migrations.
• Assist with hosting, domains, SSL certificates, and backups.
• Maintain and improve the custom LMS and assist with its deployment.
• Work with existing source code, databases, and APIs.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and maintaining websites on WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
• Ability to work with existing codebases and perform technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with website hosting, migrations, and domain management.
• Comfortable working across multiple platforms and business requirements.
• Ability to provide examples of previous WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify projects.
