QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing to ensure the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in test execution, defect tracking, and functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and functional requirements and prepare test cases/scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure application quality before release.
• Work closely with developers and product teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain test reports and QA documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA reviews.
• Perform cross-browser and application compatibility testing.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in web and/or mobile application testing.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and test case/bug report preparation.
• Knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to API Testing using Postman.
• Basic understanding of Automation Testing concepts.
• Experience with cross-browser testing.
