Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using the .NET ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong server-side development experience, database knowledge, and exposure to AWS/cloud or production server environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and ASP.NET Core/.NET.
- Design and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
- Build business logic and backend services based on functional requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases.
- Work with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and stored procedures.
- Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, JWT, and API security.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Develop background jobs and scheduled services where required.
- Identify and resolve application and production issues.
- Optimize API response time, database queries, and overall application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Deploy and support applications in AWS or server environments.
- Monitor application health, logs, errors, and production performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Strong SQL Server experience.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working with production applications.
- Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or server-side deployment.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve real-world production issues.
