Application Developer

Role Overview

The Application Developer plays a key role in developing and supporting enterprise web applications as part of the Global Competency Center in Chennai. This role focuses on application development, maintenance, testing, and supporting business applications, workflow solutions, and related software components using the Microsoft technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and support business applications and workflow solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members to design and deliver innovative applications.
• Assist the business and IT with survey initiatives and cross-department projects.
• Respond to ad-hoc support requests from business and IT members.
• Provide expertise and support to end users and the IT support team.
• Conduct research on emerging development tools and strategies.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development or web development.
• Familiarity with application development, automation, and integration concepts.
• Working knowledge of modern programming languages and development technologies.
• Understanding of databases, REST APIs, and system integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues and identify effective solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, .NET, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of developing and executing test cases.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and Responsive Application Development.
