Role Overview
As Eng II, Software of the Baxter’s Specialty Monitoring group, you will be involved in design and development of software applications and features on embedded Linux for Patient Monitoring devices. This SW application uses Qt/QML as the user interface technology and C++ as the backend.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of medical application and end-end feature development, unit testing, debugging, bug fixing.
- Technical risk identification and performance optimization on embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with scrum teams and ensure regular program planning and flow it down to PI and Sprint levels.
- Involve actively in project planning, scope changes and other nonstandard events throughout the life of the project.
- Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
- Demonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles.
- Ensure that releases meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Work with fellow team members and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production.
Requirements
- Degree in Bachelor of Engineering/ Computer Science.
- 4+ years in product development in SW with exposure to Technically Leading scrum teams.
- Strong Hands-on knowledge on C++ on embedded systems, Linux OS (Operating System), MVVM design Pattern.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile SW (Software) development methodologies.
- Knowledge and application of design patterns.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative multinational environment.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
