Role Overview

BestPeers InfoSystem Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, along with experience in modern frontend technologies and cloud-native development practices. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be comfortable interacting with clients, gathering requirements, participating in technical discussions, and delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Build secure, efficient, and reusable RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate applications using React.js.
• Participate in client discussions, requirement analysis, and technical solution planning.
• Design and optimize database structures using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Improve application performance through caching, background job processing, and optimization techniques.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails development.
• Good working knowledge of React.js.
• Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
