Software Engineer, Associate (UI Platform)

Role Overview

Betterworks is seeking a motivated Software Engineer, Associate to join our frontend development team. This role is perfect for someone with foundational full-stack knowledge who is passionate about user interfaces and wants to rapidly grow their frontend technical skills under the mentorship of our experienced Senior and Staff engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance core features of our complex enterprise performance management SaaS platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern frontend technologies.
• Participate actively in code reviews and learn industry best practices.
• Assist in identifying and troubleshooting bugs to ensure optimal application performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to translate requirements into code.
• Actively learn and grow frontend architecture skills through pairing with senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–1+ years of software development experience.
• Foundational full-stack knowledge with a desire to specialize in frontend.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, or React.
