AI & Clinical Data Science Engineer

Role Overview

The AI & Clinical Data Science Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. You will lead the end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions across Bioscan Research's portfolio of neurotechnology products and future digital health platforms. The role involves transforming biomedical signals, clinical data, and real-world evidence into clinically meaningful algorithms supporting diagnosis, patient monitoring, and neuroscience research.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning, deep learning, signal processing, and predictive analytics models for Clinical Decision Support Systems and Research SDKs.
• Design and execute validation studies using phantom models, bench-top experiments, animal studies, and human clinical trials.
• Build data pipelines for acquisition, preprocessing, annotation, storage, and model training.
• Deploy optimized models to embedded systems, mobile applications, and cloud platforms.
• Develop SDKs, APIs, and developer tools for proprietary hardware research platforms.
• Contribute to regulatory documentation including Design History Files and compliance with FDA GMLP, IEC 62304, and ISO 14971.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing AI/ML models for biomedical or clinical applications.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and clinical teams.
• Experience with signal processing and multimodal data architectures.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for medical device software.
