Role Overview

The Junior Web Developer internship is a remote role focused on supporting the development and maintenance of web applications and marketing websites, providing hands-on experience with real client projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front-end UI implementation and basic back-end functionality.
• Integrate APIs under the guidance of senior developers.
• Troubleshoot bugs and perform browser and device testing.
• Contribute to improving site performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to translate creative concepts into functional web experiences.
• Document code and follow established coding standards.

Requirements

• Strong interest and foundational skills in Web Development and Programming.
• Basic experience or coursework in Front-End Development.
• Exposure to Back-End Web Development concepts such as server-side logic, databases, or APIs.
• Understanding of Web Design principles, including responsive layouts, usability, and accessibility.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
