Junior Python Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a backend-focused developer to develop and maintain services, build REST APIs for financial data, and work on data pipelines for portfolio analytics and reporting within a fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python
• Build REST APIs for financial data, transactions, and analytics
• Integrate with external APIs such as BSE, NSE, ONDC, payment gateways, and KYC systems
• Work on data pipelines for portfolio analytics and reporting
• Optimize performance and scalability of applications
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams for feature delivery
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python
• Experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Basic knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Understanding of API integrations

Nice to Have

• Experience with fintech or financial data
• Exposure to AWS or cloud deployment
• Knowledge of LLMs / AI integrations
• Understanding of data analytics libraries like Pandas or NumPy
