AI Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Developer – Freelancer to work onsite at Erode. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI and Python with the ability to develop and implement practical AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML solutions based on project requirements.
• Build and integrate Generative AI applications using modern AI tools and frameworks.
• Develop AI-powered applications using Python.
• Work with LLMs, APIs, prompt engineering and AI integration.
• Design, test, debug and optimize AI models and applications.
• Work with structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate AI models with web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and deliver solutions within timelines.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest AI, Generative AI and LLM technologies.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or AI Development.
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI.
• Knowledge of LLMs and AI APIs.
• Understanding of Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with frameworks/libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and API integration.
• Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or similar LLM platforms.
• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Experience with vector databases such as FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, or similar.
• Knowledge of AI agents and workflow automation.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience developing production-ready AI applications.
