Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions across BM Labs’ product and client portfolios. You will implement back-end features, write clean code, fix bugs, and collaborate with senior engineers to improve system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Implementing back-end features and writing clean, efficient code.
• Fixing bugs and improving system performance and reliability.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to technical documentation.
• Assisting in the integration of data and analytics components into applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Testing, debugging, and optimizing applications.
• Automating repetitive business processes and internal workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as NodeJs, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs and databases.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Ability to use version control practices like Git.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
