Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a technically credible and highly organized engineer to manage the day-to-day operations of our technology vendors across cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, observability, networking and managed services. You will work closely with engineering, finance, procurement, legal and security teams to ensure vendor services remain reliable, cost-effective and aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Operational Governance: Support Order Form, Purchase Order, PoCs, SoWs, transition planning and vendor lifecycle management.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare concise, decision-ready reports for engineering and leadership teams and coordinate vendor meetings.
- Vendor Operations: Act as the primary operational contact for assigned technology vendors, coordinate onboarding, service reviews, and SLA/KPI tracking.
- Technical Evaluation: Review architecture diagrams, monitoring dashboards, performance trends and RCA reports to assess vendor performance.
- Commercial & FinOps Support: Analyse cloud consumption, licence utilisation, invoices, pricing benchmarks and total cost of ownership.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in a technical vendor management or DevOps operations role.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, reliability, and observability.
- Experience with vendor governance, SLA/KPI management, and service reviews.
- Strong analytical ability to review logs, dashboards, and performance trends.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
