Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Intern

Role Overview

At BONC Network, we are building innovative platforms that bridge complex business ecosystems. As an AI & Machine Learning (ML) Intern, you will assist in researching, developing, and deploying machine learning models and data pipelines that power our platforms, working closely with the engineering team to translate complex business data into actionable insights and automation features.

Responsibilities

• Model Development & Experimentation: Assist in building, testing, and fine-tuning machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, or data extraction tasks.
• Data Engineering & Preprocessing: Clean, format, and structure raw data from enterprise systems to prepare high-quality datasets.
• API & Backend Integration: Work with backend developers to integrate ML model endpoints into existing backend ecosystems using RESTful APIs.
• AI Feature Prototyping: Build prototypes for novel AI functionality such as intelligent document processing or natural language workflows.
• Performance Evaluation & Tuning: Help evaluate model metrics and optimize performance for low-latency inference.
• Research & Collaboration: Stay updated on current AI/ML trends and open-source models.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and fundamental data science libraries.
• Solid conceptual understanding of core Machine Learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques.
• Basic proficiency in SQL and experience handling structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or frameworks like LangChain.
• Experience with web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, or Docker.
