DevOps engineer

Role Overview

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation and containerized deployments. The role focuses on Ansible automation, Docker containerization, and Ubuntu-based environments to support customer project environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and provisioning.
• Design and deploy Docker containers for microservices and applications on Ubuntu servers.
• Automate infrastructure tasks including software installation, system updates, and service configuration.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines integrating Ansible and Docker workflows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot containerized applications and system performance.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and automation processes.

Requirements

• BTech in CSE/EEE.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible (roles, playbooks, inventories, modules).
• Rich experience with Docker (images, containers, volumes, networking).
• Solid understanding of Ubuntu Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
• Flexibility to work in Europe & US central time zones.

Nice to Have

• Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certification in Ansible or Docker.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
