Cybersecurity & AI/Data Governance Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity & AI/Data Governance Intern to bridge the gap between security compliance and engineering. You will assist in the design, audit, and implementation of technical guardrails to protect infrastructure and govern data and AI systems, focusing on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and secure AI deployment.

Responsibilities

• Audit and refine RBAC permissions across all platforms.
• Integrate and modernize Identity Providers using OIDC/SAML.
• Develop secure infrastructure templates with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK.
• Harden enterprise Linux and containerized environments.
• Configure firewalls, VLANs, and network protocols for environment segmentation.
• Define data workflows and ensure privacy in data pipelines using LDAP/ZFS.
• Set security controls for Vision-Language Models and vector searches.
• Oversee GPU resources and enforce usage policies.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Linux systems administration (RHEL preferred).
• Experience with virtualization and containers such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Proxmox.
• Understanding of OIDC, SAML, LDAP, TCP/IP, and DNS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of databases including SQL, MongoDB, and caching layers like Redis/Valkey.
