Role Overview
Bridge Capital is a growing FinTech business focused on providing seamless and technology driven lending solutions. We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our technology team and contribute to building reliable, secure, and high-performance backend systems that support our digital lending infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django.
- Develop robust APIs and backend services to support digital lending products and business processes.
- Work with SQL databases to design, optimize, and manage data structures and queries.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and backend architectures.
- Integrate internal and third-party APIs and services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Risk, and Credit teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Backend Development.
- Mandatory experience working in a FinTech company.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django / Django REST Framework.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Good knowledge of DBMS concepts, database design, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript.
- Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and software development practices.

- Experience in Digital Lending, NBFC, or Loan Management Systems (LOS/LMS).

- Experience working with high-volume transactional systems.
