Power BI Developer

Role Overview

Bridgenext is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and visually appealing dashboards, working closely with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Create and optimize DAX queries and measures to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Develop data models and design star/snowflake schemas.
• Connect to various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, and APIs.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage report access.
• Schedule and automate data refreshes and monitor report performance.
• Document dashboards, data models, and development processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience working with Power BI in a BI or data analytics role.
• Proficiency in writing DAX expressions and complex calculated columns.
• Strong knowledge of Power Query (M language) for data transformation.
• Experience building and optimizing data models.
• Solid understanding of SQL and querying relational databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Power BI Service, workspaces, and gateway management.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, or AWS Redshift.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
• Microsoft certification such as PL-300.
