Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Python SDET based in Bangalore to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our API and backend services through robust automation and deep technical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable test scripts for API, and backend services using Python
- Perform deep debugging and root cause analysis of issues across application layers
- Collaborate with developers to understand architecture/design and identify test gaps early
- Ensure strong adherence to testing best practices, including test planning, test case design, and test data management
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in QA/SDET roles
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, test design techniques, and QA processes
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Strong debugging skills with the ability to identify, isolate, and fix issues in distributed systems
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
