AI Engineer (Remote @ Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru)

Role Overview

Bundled is a US-based startup building the infrastructure behind modern subscription bundles. We use AI to automate workflows, coordinate services, and drive real product outcomes. This role is for engineers who want to build agentic systems that actually run in production, coordinate multiple services, and make decisions—not wire together no-code/low-code tools.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-driven automations that orchestrate multi-step workflows across systems
• Design and implement agent-to-agent (A2A) coordination, including task decomposition, delegation, and state management
• Implement deterministic + LLM-driven hybrid workflows
• Own orchestration logic end-to-end: Triggers, reasoning, execution, and verification
• Build robust tool-calling and action frameworks
• Integrate agents with real systems such as payments, subscriptions, and messaging
• Instrument automations with logging, metrics, and guardrails
• Ship frequently and iterate based on failures and feedback

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience as a backend, platform, or AI engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience building automation systems or workflow engines
• Hands-on experience with agentic systems or multi-step AI workflows
• Experience implementing A2A orchestration
• Comfort designing stateful workflows, retries, idempotency, and error handling
• Experience integrating with external APIs and services
• Strong system design skills regarding failure modes, scale, and observability
• Ability to ship production systems, not prototypes
