SW Engineer II - .NET

Role Overview

Candescent is a forward-thinking financial technology company transforming how financial institutions deliver Intelligent Banking experiences. We unite digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions to create seamless engagement across digital, remote, and in-person channels using an API-first, cloud-based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software using the Microsoft .NET stack.
• Develop web-based applications using HTML5 and OAuth2.
• Implement API-based designs using REST and SOAP frameworks.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Utilize AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and testing.
• Apply Generative AI to improve documentation and API contract generation.
• Operate within an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in software design and development.
• 4+ years of experience with C#, .NET 8.0+, and Object Oriented programming.
• Proficiency in WPF, WinForms, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Expertise in MVC and Microservice architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Strong understanding of AI-generated code validation and responsible AI usage.
