Role Overview
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. This role requires the exercise of original thought and judgement, applying scientific methods to solve complex engineering problems and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Apply scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
- Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice in research, design, development, and maintenance.
- Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Collaborate and act as a team player with other engineers and stakeholders.
- Organise own time to deliver against tasks with a mid-term horizon.
Requirements
- More than a year of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and produce accurate, reliable results.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively to achieve team goals and make informed decisions.
