Software Engineer

Role Overview

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. This role requires the exercise of original thought and judgement to solve complex problems and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
• Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice in research, design, development, and maintenance.
• Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
• Collaborate and act as a team player with other engineers and stakeholders.
• Organise own time to deliver against tasks with a mid-term horizon.

Requirements

• More than a year of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and produce accurate, reliable results.
• Proven ability to work cooperatively to achieve team goals.
