Test Engineer

Role Overview

The primary objective of the Test Engineer role is to validate whether the System Under Test works as specified by users and other stakeholders. This role involves designing test cases, test scripts, and test data to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify test scenarios and write comprehensive test cases.
• Execute manual testing for Desktop and Web Applications.
• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings to stakeholders.
• Control and manage daily test activities independently.
• Interpret requirements and technical specifications to translate them into thorough test plans.
• Perform performance, cross-browser, mainframe, iOS, and Android device testing.
• Test with peripheral devices.

Requirements

• Good understanding of all phases of the testing life cycle.
• Experience working with onshore teams.
• Understanding of TDD and/or BDD.
• Knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Experience with Manual Testing (Desktop, Web Application).
• Ability to independently interpret technical specifications.
• ISTQB or other professional qualification preferred.
