Machine Learning Ops Intern

Role Overview

At Carbon Crunch, we’re building India’s leading compliance-tech platform for sustainability, helping industries navigate mandates like BRSR, GHG Reporting, RCO, and emerging carbon markets. We are looking for an AI-ML Ops Intern who is excited about taking machine learning models from experimentation to real-world deployment. You will work closely with the tech team to operationalise ML models, improve workflows, and build reliable infrastructure for data-driven products.

Responsibilities

• Deploying machine learning models into production environments
• Building and managing AI/ML pipelines (data → training → deployment)
• Working on model versioning, monitoring, and performance tracking
• Assisting in data preprocessing, validation, and pipeline automation
• Collaborating with developers to integrate ML models into backend systems
• Exploring tools like Docker, APIs, and cloud platforms for scalable deployment

Requirements

• Basic understanding of machine learning workflows (training, validation, deployment)
• Familiarity with Python and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Interest in backend systems, APIs, and deployment environments
• Curiosity about how ML systems scale in real-world applications
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to debug and iterate
• High ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setup
