Payment Integrity Intern

Role Overview

The Payment Integrity Intern resides within the Payment Integrity Department, supporting the clinical editing Pre-Pay process and ongoing process improvement. The intern will participate in project workstreams supporting Cost of Care initiatives. This is a remote position with an anticipated start date in October 2026. Candidates must be able to commit to part-time work (15-20 hours) during Spring/Fall and full-time (40 hours) during Summer.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and executing tasks associated with the delivery of organizational initiatives.
• Creation of workflows and SOPs.
• Reporting out metrics related to the Pre-Pay clinical editing process.
• Develop and execute communications to internal and external project stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, record outcomes for key action items and follow-ups.
• Identify proactive opportunities for deploying creative communications strategies.
• Maintain internal and external stakeholder information repository using SharePoint and Salesforce Communities.

Requirements

• Currently working towards at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
• Junior or Senior Undergraduate student targeting majors in Business Administration, Project Management, or Management related degree.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship.
