Role Overview
As a Core Engineer, you will write and ship production-grade Python and SQL to manage high-volume healthcare data. You will transition models and LLM pipelines from notebooks into scheduled, instrumented production services, ensuring reliability through robust logging, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Write and ship production-grade Python and SQL for sensitive healthcare data.
- Turn models and LLM pipelines into scheduled, instrumented production services.
- Build and maintain data, model, and application pipelines with logging and monitoring.
- Develop evaluation sets and metrics for offline and online model performance.
- Triage and fix issues in live systems and implement preventative testing.
- Optimize cost, latency, and reliability of ML and AI services.
- Focus areas include Machine Learning & Modeling, AI/GenAI Engineering (RAG/Agentic pipelines), or ML Platform & MLOps.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines from premier institutes (IITs, NITs, etc.).
- Minimum aggregate CGPA of 8.0.
- 0–1 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with SQL and working with large-scale data.
- Demonstrated experience building at least one ML or AI system outside of a notebook environment.
- Understanding of data leakage, distribution shift, and production success metrics.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerized deployment.
- Hands-on with Airflow, Kubeflow, Feast, or MLflow.
- Practical RAG or agentic work with LLM evaluation and observability.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated domains.
