Web Developer – E-Commerce & Internal Tools

Role Overview

As a developer at Catch Creation, you will build and maintain custom Shopify Plus themes and backend customizations, develop internal tools, and own critical API integrations to support a global eCommerce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom Shopify Plus theme and backend customizations using Liquid and Shopify APIs.
• Develop internal tools, dashboards, and reporting systems for marketing and operations.
• Own API integrations between Shopify, 3PL providers, marketplaces, and analytics platforms like Northbeam.
• Design and maintain data pipelines to consolidate performance data across ad platforms and fulfillment systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the e-commerce stack.
• Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations leads to prioritize projects.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in web development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Backend experience in Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in South America with availability during US business hours.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Plus (Liquid, Storefront/Admin APIs, Flow, Scripts).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or custom dashboards.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, BigQuery, or Google Sheets API.
• Background in e-commerce operations or marketplace APIs like Amazon SP-API.
• Exposure to AI/automation tooling.
