Software Test Engineer - Dynamics 365 (D365)

Role Overview

The Software Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) applications through effective test planning, automation, and execution. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated test solutions, supporting QA processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver stable and scalable ERP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining and implementing QA strategies aligned with F&O project needs.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and regression suites.
• Support functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing efforts.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Leapwork, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools and participate in defect triage.
• Execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Maintain QA artifacts including test cases, execution reports, and defect logs.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2–3 years in automation.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Leapwork, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or Robot Framework.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Understanding of automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM) or BDD (Cucumber).
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Basic understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O modules is preferred.
