Responsibilities

• Develop simple, well-structured data pipelines and queries using standard frameworks and templates.
• Code and test ETL/ELT components for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across batch or streaming patterns.
• Execute data quality checks and reconciliation against source systems.
• Monitor pipeline schedules, SLAs, and logs, investigating routine failures.
• Write dataset lineage, table definitions, and change history in agreed repositories.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and platform engineers to map sources and refine requirements.
• Apply security, privacy, and governance controls to comply with standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or data integration.
• Certification in cloud, data, or technology fundamentals is preferred.
