Role Overview
The Oracle Agile PLM Developer designs, develops, customizes, and maintains the Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role focuses on writing Java-based Process Extensions (PXs), designing robust integrations using AIS/ACS, and optimizing the backend Oracle Database. You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Code custom Process Extensions (PXs), event handlers, and user-defined scripts using Java and the Agile API/SDK.
- Develop Java Server Pages (JSP), servlets, and web applications to extend the user interface.
- Build and maintain custom extensions using Apache Ant or Maven.
- Architect system-to-system integrations using Agile Integration Services (AIS) and Agile Content Service (ACS).
- Build web services using SOAP/REST protocols.
- Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
- Execute data migrations using Oracle Data Pump.
- Configure Agile workflows, attributes, and business forms.
- Manage user security, roles, and access control lists.
- Debug system errors and manage software patches and upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Agile PLM development, configuration, and customization.
- Advanced proficiency in Java (J2EE), Agile API/SDK, JSP, and Servlets.
- Experience with Apache Ant or Maven.
- Direct experience with AIS, ACS, SOAP, and RESTful web services.
- Strong skills in Oracle Database administration, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Deep knowledge of core modules like PC, PQM, and PPM.
