Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a strong Automation Test Engineer with 3-8 years of experience to join our team. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to define test scenarios and improve test coverage. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in automation testing, strong problem-solving skills, and a quality-driven mindset, specifically within a Dotnet application background.

Responsibilities

• Developed and maintained Selenium WebDriver automation scripts using Java, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD.
• Automated REST API test cases using REST Assured and validated JSON responses.
• Built reusable Page Object Model (POM) frameworks to improve maintainability.
• Integrated automation suites with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Executed smoke, regression, and end-to-end test suites across multiple environments.
• Collaborated with cross-functional Agile teams to analyze requirements and create automation scenarios.
• Logged, tracked, and verified defects using Jira while ensuring timely resolution.
• Performed database validation using SQL to verify backend data integrity.
• Maintained automation code in Git and participated in peer code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java for web application automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber (BDD), Gherkin, and Page Object Model (POM) framework.
• Proficiency in API Automation Testing using REST Assured, Postman, and validating RESTful web services.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and developing reusable automation frameworks.
